2. Tests for educational purposes
Tests for educational purposes are designed and used in studies investigating the relationship between ASL knowledge in deaf children and their English literacy performance.

3. Tests for linguistic research
Two of the three introduced tests are desigend to obtain information on how specific morphosyntactic structures are produced by an deaf adult signed language user. The other test is a grammatical judgment test for
ASL which has been developed within the framework of a research project investigating the effects of age of acquisition of ASL on the grammatical processing of deaf ASL users.

4. Tests for adult second language learners
These tests are designed either for adults who learn a signed language as their second language, e.g. students in a deaf education program or for professionals who already work with deaf people, in order to assess
their skills in a signed language.
